The Zavalla Eagles stacked a 16th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Leggett, posting a 58-24 win on the road. 58 seems to be a good number for Zavalla as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Despite the loss, Leggett still got an impressive performance from Tamera Henderson, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Henderson is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bianca Perkins, who scored eight points.
Zavalla is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season. As for Leggett, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-22.

The timing is sure in Brookeland's favor as the team sits on eight straight wins at home while the Pirates have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
