Cooper won the last time they faced Dixie Heights and Zoe Cheek did her part to make sure it happened again. The Jaguars put the hurt on the Colonels with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday for which the team can thank Cheek, who had 22 digs and three assists. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

One reason for the win was Cooper's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 25-18.

Cooper's victory bumped their record up to 11-16. As for Dixie Heights, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Cooper wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Highlands on the 16th. As for Dixie Heights, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Grant County on the 15th.
