Last Friday, V.R. Eaton blew past Timber Creek, posting a 72-42 win on the road.
Meanwhile, after a string of nine wins, Braswell's good fortune finally ran out last Tuesday. They took a 54-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of McKinney. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Braswell in their matchups with McKinney: they've now lost seven in a row.
V.R. Eaton's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Braswell, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-2.
V.R. Eaton took a serious blow against Braswell when the teams last played back in December of 2017, falling 72-23. Can V.R. Eaton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
