Volleyball Recap: KIPP San Jose Collegiate Has No Trouble Against ACE Charter

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against University Prep Academy, KIPP San Jose Collegiate was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the ACE Charter Cheetahs as KIPP San Jose Collegiate made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Wolfpack, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

KIPP San Jose Collegiate's got stronger as the match went on, holding ACE Charter to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-6.

Khang Banh paced KIPP San Jose Collegiate's offense, picking up eight kills. Banh also shared the team's lead in assists with Luis Pantoja: they picked up nine each. Henry Guerrero Luna controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

KIPP San Jose Collegiate now has a winning record of 2-1. As for ACE Charter, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
