Chiefland had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They pulled ahead with a 36-35 photo finish over the Williston Red Devils on Friday. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 10-0 win the Red Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.
Chiefland was led to victory by Demorri Sweet and Matt Goodale. Sweet rushed for 113 yards and one score on only 13 carries, while Goodale rushed for 81 yards and one TD.
