Warren Township was led to victory by Shay Love and Mariah Phelps. Love scored 4 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals, while Phelps dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Anika Youngman, who scored 11 points.
Warren Township now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Vernon Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Warren Township will head out on the road to face off against Mundelein at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mundelein will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Vernon Hills, they will take on Hampshire at 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday.
