The Reagan Rattlers lost against the Churchill Chargers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Reagan took a 49-32 bruising from Churchill. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Reagan in their matchups with Churchill: they've now lost three in a row.
Reagan lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Sahara Green, who scored six points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Joana Lopez, who scored five points.
Reagan's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Churchill, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.
Reagan will head out on the road to face off against SA Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. SA Roosevelt has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 18. As for Churchill, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Marshall at 5:30 p.m. Marshall is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
