Meanwhile, Ridge Point strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Fort Bend Hightower 44-6. With the Panthers ahead 24-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Fort Bend Austin better keep an eye on Aiden Akins. He was instrumental in Ridge Point's win, rushing for 135 yards and a pair of scores on only 12 carries. Akins really tore up the turf during one magnificent 88-yard run. Bailen George also helped out with an impressive 90 receiving yards.
