After two games on the road, Lehman is heading back home. They will take on the Cedar Park Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lehman will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 955th, while Cedar Park is ranked 273rd).
Lehman suffered their biggest defeat since December 22, 2023 on Tuesday. They were beaten by Glenn 66-35. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lehman in their matchups with Glenn: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Cedar Park beat Liberty Hill 53-48 on Tuesday.
Cedar Park can attribute much of their success to Ethan O'connor, who scored 14 points along with three steals. Drew O'connor was another key contributor, scoring six points along with two steals.
Lehman's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 8-19. As for Cedar Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season.
Lehman lost to Cedar Park at home by a decisive 59-40 margin when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Lehman avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
