Three Rivers recap Oct. 3, 2012
Oswego led Three Rivers in scoring this week after putting up 30 points on Oswego.
Northeast made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,890 from 13,401. The advance stemmed from a 22-14 victory over Jayhawk Linn last week.
The Vikings' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. J.T. Richardson threw for 167 and one touchdown and Nick Younge had 97 yards receiving. On the ground Antonio Slingluff chipped in 84 yards. Kegan Willard helped Northeast's passing attack out by catching two balls for 33 yards.
Northeast's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Vikings feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Richardson has thrown for 501 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Younge has 11 catches for 229 yards. Richardson also leads the league in rushing with 708 yards.
