The Hewitt-Trussville Huskies had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Wetumpka.
Wetumpka's loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
Hewitt-Trussville will head out on the road to square off against Stanhope Elmore at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wetumpka, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory vs. Trinity Presbyterian on the 10th.
