Southeast had trouble last Friday, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. They will challenge Upton/Sundance on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Southeast are limping into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
Southeast were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 9-14 to Tongue River.
Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Upton/Sundance, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. They steamrollered Wright 48-13. Followers of Upton/Sundance probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
Upton/Sundance's win lifted them to 5-1 while Southeast's loss dropped them down to 0-5. We'll find out if Upton/Sundance can add another positive mark to their record or if Southeast can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Upton/Sundance's step.
