Carrboro extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Summer Lee. The Carrboro Jaguars took down the Louisburg Warriors 59-45 on Friday thanks in part to Lee, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 18 rebounds. Those 29 points gave her a new career-high.

Madison French was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Louisburg's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was TAMIYA MAYO, who made all 6 shots she took for 13 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was CHLOE ARRINGTON, who posted 17 points.

Carrboro's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Louisburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Carrboro has already played their next contest, a 75-16 victory against Granville Central on the 24th. As for Louisburg, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-49 win against The Burlington School on the 20th.
