Shawnee Heights's game  last Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the West Chargers 53-8 on the road.  Leading Shawnee Heights to victory were  Aiden Scott and  Christian Labrador.  Scott threw for 333 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.8 yards per attempt, while  Labrador gained 176 total yards and two touchdowns.  Trone Purvis also helped with two touchdowns in total.
 Shawnee Heights' defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged four passes before it was all said and done.  Tyren Parker led the group effort, picking up two of those  interceptions all by himself.
 The  win  got Shawnee Heights back to even at 1-1. As for West,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shawnee Heights' road trip will continue as they head out to face Basehor-Linwood at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for West, they will take on Seaman at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
