Kemper Academy has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Columbus Christian Academy rams on Tuesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Kemper Academy has not done well against Sylva Bay Academy recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way last Friday. Kemper Academy rang in the new year with a 44-36 victory over Sylva Bay Academy.
Meanwhile, Columbus Christian Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success back in December of 2023. They blew past Central Holmes Christian 61-35. The win made it back-to-back wins for Columbus Christian Academy.
Kemper Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Columbus Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.
Kemper Academy couldn't quite finish off Columbus Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 and fell 53-50. Can Kemper Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
