Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Mecklenburg). They blew past the West Mecklenburg Hawks 31-14 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won nine in a row.

North Mecklenburg pushed their record up to 8-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for West Mecklenburg, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.
