Lowndes made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Thomas County Central, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Vikings put the hurt on the Yellow Jackets with a sharp 5-0 win on Tuesday. Considering Lowndes have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Lowndes and bumps their season record up to 9-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two games. As for Thomas County Central, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
