Landmark Academy will head out on the road to take on the More Academy Crusaders at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. More Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Landmark Academy, who comes in off a win.
Landmark Academy can finally bid farewell to their 14-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Thursday. They breezed by Michigan School for the Deaf on the road to the tune of 66-12. That 54 points margin sets a new team best for Landmark Academy this season.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for More Academy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 69-51 loss to Lapeer Lakers Homeschool on Thursday. While losing is never fun, More Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 664th, while Lapeer Lakers Homeschool is ranked 167th).
Landmark Academy's win ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-6. As for More Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
Landmark Academy and More Academy were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but Landmark Academy came up empty-handed after a 55-54 defeat. Can Landmark Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
