The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains will head out to take on the Mohawk Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
On Thursday, Hopewell-Loudon came up short against New Riegel and fell 3-1.
While Hopewell-Loudon had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 19-25, 25-23, 25-21.

Hopewell-Loudon might have lost, but man, Maddie Holcomb was a machine: she had 30 digs. Holcomb is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.
Meanwhile, Mohawk had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They blew past the Rams 3-0.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mohawk took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15, 25-9.
Hopewell-Loudon better focus on containing Emerson Gurney and Cara Peterson as the pair were huge in Mohawk's win. Gurney had 11 digs and four aces, while Peterson had four digs and three aces. Jayla Huffman also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.
Mohawk was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces every time they've taken the court this season.
Hopewell-Loudon has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Mohawk, their win bumped their record up to 18-4.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Wednesday's matchup: Hopewell-Loudon has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.5 aces per game. However, it's not like Mohawk struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.5 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
