NOVATO, Calif. -
San Marin (Novato, Calif.) extended its winning streak to seven games with a 35-7 victory over
Justin-Siena (Napa, Calif.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Kyle Chernoff in the first quarter, the Mustangs led 28-0 at the half.
Justin-Siena's only touchdown came on a 28-yard run by
Steven Lum in the third quarter.
San Marin had given up an average of 13.8 points prior to the contest.
The victory was a completely different match up compared to last season's game between these two teams, which the Braves took, 42-15.
In a Marin County game next week San Marin (8-1) takes on Marin Catholic, and Justin-Siena (5-4) will go up against Novato also in a Marin County game.
