Lake Havasu's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Kellis with a sharp 13-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Haley Martin made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Martin was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Lake Havasu is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Sunrise Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
