After a string of seven wins, The James Madison Warhawks''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to South Lakes 12-7. James Madison was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as South Lakes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
James Madison's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Dominic Knicely, who rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown.
South Lakes' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nick Harris led the charge by throwing for 235 yards and a touchdown. Brian Kennedy was another key contributor, picking up 94 receiving yards and a touchdown.
