There's no place like home for Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They blew past the Willow Lions 12-2 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Swamp Owls, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Juliet April was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Curry CMuller, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy moved to 8-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Willow, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy will host Albany at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Willow, they will challenge Benjamin Franklin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
