This season hasn't been kind to the Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage Rams, who are still winless after their seventh contest. They received a tough blow on Monday as they fell 42-26 to Coleville. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage in their matchups with Coleville: they've now lost nine in a row.
Stephanie Gutierrez-Rodriguez continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Coleville, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gutierrez-Rodriguez has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bobbie Harper, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and two steals.
Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage bumped their record down to 0-7 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Coleville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage will face off against Sage Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Coleville's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pyramid Lake at 1:30 p.m. on January 20th.
