Softball Recap: North Extends Winning Streak to Three

California City typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday North proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 15-12 win over the Ravens. The victory was familiar territory for the Stars, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Bayleigh Wood and Allison Jauregui did most of the damage at the plate: Wood went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double, while Jauregui got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs and one RBI.

North's win bumped their record up to 19-10. As for California City, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-11.

North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for California City, they will take on Kern Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ravens' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Broncs have averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season.
