While Avery's win against Dodd City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Hornets 30-27. The win was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won three contests in a row.

Avery's record is now 12-4. As for Dodd City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Avery and Non Varsity Tournament Opponent will round out the year against one another at 8:30 a.m. on the 29th. As for Dodd City, they are taking a road trip to challenge Celeste at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
