Adams Central won the last time they faced Centennial and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Patriots put the hurt on the Broncos with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Kowen Rader made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Rader was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

In other pitching news, Aiden Krejci looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up a single earned run any time he's pitched this season.

Back at the plate, Adams Central let Liam Dyer and Kaleb Wahlmeier run wild. Dyer got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI, while Wahlmeier went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases and two runs. That's the most runs Dyer has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Mousel, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Adams Central hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in five consecutive games.

Adams Central's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Centennial, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Adams Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-3 win against Maxwell on the 24th. As for Centennial, they have also already played their next matchup, an 11-1 loss against Malcolm on the 26th.
