East Surry's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the North Wilkes Vikings as they made off with a 12-2 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 last Tuesday.

East Surry has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for North Wilkes, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

East Surry will square off against Mount Tabor at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cardinals are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for North Wilkes, they will venture away from home to face off against Forbush at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season.
