Becky Gaskins was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Laylee Chesser, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Lowcountry Leadership always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bridges Prep only posted an OBP of .375.
Lowcountry Leadership is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games.
