The Liberty Raiders lost against the Meadow Bridge Wildcats back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Liberty took a hard 51-35 fall against Meadow Bridge. Liberty has struggled against Meadow Bridge recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Meadow Bridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Riley Roberts, who scored 19 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lilly Hayes, who scored 7 points along with 8 assists and 5 steals.
Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Meadow Bridge, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Sherman at 6:00 p.m. on December 4th. Meadow Bridge will take on Craig County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
