6A District 1 recap September 24, 2013
McCracken County moved up to 88 from 146 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 6A District 1. McCracken County was able to move up by besting Bullitt Central 48-0.
Henderson County was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating North Hopkins. The Colonels came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 32 last week.
Zyaire Hughes and Jordan Troutman gave Orville Haskins' team a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Hughes threw for 95 yards and 3 touchdowns, while Troutman ran for 178 yards. Teammate Rasheed Jones added to the ground attack by rushing for 64 yards.
