Elijah Perryman was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 13 games he's played. James Moore was another key contributor, scoring six points along with two steals.
Campolindo's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gavin Rendle, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tim Smith, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds and two blocks.
Clayton Valley Charter's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Campolindo, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-4.
Clayton Valley Charter will face off against Capital Christian at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday. Capital Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 466 points over their last six games. As for Campolindo, they will be playing at home against Mt. Diablo at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mt. Diablo will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1118th, while Campolindo is ranked 47th).
