The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Charlotte in their matchups with Dilley: they've now lost seven in a row.
Dilley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alex Ayala led the charge by dropping a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. The matchup was Ayala's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Seth Cano, who scored 11 points.
Charlotte's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Dilley, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
Charlotte is on the road again on Thursday and play against Danbury at 3:30 p.m. on December 7th. As for Dilley, they will face off against George West at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. George West presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Dilley in Texas (George West is ranked 317th, while Dilley is ranked 1291st).
