The St. Ursula Academy Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Bellbrook Golden Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Ursula Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.
St. Ursula Academy barely beat Bishop Brossart the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Mustangs on Thursday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on V Oberkorn, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of J Booth, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
St. Ursula Academy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bellbrook, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They skirted past Badin 7-5. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Abigail Hebrank (2028) spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Taitum Savey (2025) was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Heidi Pummell (2027) was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Bellbrook's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for St. Ursula Academy, their record is now 14-3.
Both St. Ursula Academy and Bellbrook just can't seem to miss. The Bulldogs have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.1 hits per game. However, it's not like Bellbrook struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.3 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance. Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
