 Meanwhile, East Hickman County came into Friday's   contest having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victor by  a  14-7 margin over McEwen on Friday. The Eagles not only won  on Friday, but they posted their biggest win  since April 22, 2024.
 East Hickman County's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Mt. Pleasant, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Mt. Pleasant beat East Hickman County 4-0  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mt. Pleasant since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
