The Brookville Blue Devils suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Tuesday. They suffered a tough 53-31 loss at the hands of Milton-Union. Brookville has not had much luck with Milton-Union recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Brookville lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ashlee Haupt. Despite the final result, she scored 15 points.
Jenna Brumbaugh was her usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with eight rebounds and four steals for Milton-Union. Brumbaugh hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Ava Berberich, who scored 12 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Brookville has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Milton-Union, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-2.
Brookville will head out on the road to take on National Trail at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Milton-Union, they will be playing at home against Troy Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
