The Lewis County Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Campbell County Camels at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
On Thursday, Lewis County came up short against Greenup County and fell 7-4.
Aubrey Hicks put in work no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and five unearned) runs off eight hits. Hicks was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.

Meanwhile, Campbell County entered their tilt with Dixie Heights with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Colonels on Tuesday and snuck past 4-3.
Lewis County's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Campbell County, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
Lewis County took their win against Campbell County when the teams last played back in May of 2023 by a conclusive 12-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lewis County since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
