Cherokee won the last time they faced Vina and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Indians walked away with a 6-2 win over the Red Devils. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Libby Collum spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, A'Kaiya Spencer was excellent, scoring three runs while going 2-for-5. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February. Brianna Darling also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Spencer wasn't the only one making solid contact: Cherokee kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Vina only managed four hits.

Cherokee's record is now 10-16. As for Vina, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.

Cherokee will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Red Devils: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
