Everything went their way against the Southwest Raiders on Friday as Benbrook made off with a 29-3 win. Madison Canada was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in February. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Natalya Muzquiz was a standout: she went a perfect 5-for-5 with three stolen bases, four runs, and five RBI. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mya Vasquez, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with six RBI, two triples, and three runs.
