Dublin Jerome barely beat Thomas Worthington the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Celtics were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the CARDINALS on Thursday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 28, 2023, but that streak is no more.
While Dublin Jerome won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-16, 25-21.

Dublin Jerome's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Maya Bleeks, who had 14 digs and four assists, and Kaleigh Simmons, who had four digs and two aces. Bleeks has been hot, having posted 14 or more digs the last six times she's played.
Meanwhile, Hilliard Bradley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to Dublin Coffman.
Hilliard Bradley couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Dublin Coffman a tough time in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 14-25, 31-29, 25-15.
Hilliard Bradley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Dublin Jerome, their win bumped their record up to 16-3.
Dublin Jerome came up short against Hilliard Bradley when the teams last played back in September of 2019, falling 3-1. Can the Celtics avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
