Haxtun's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayleigh Bullard led the charge by dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cassidy Goddard, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds.
Peetz lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Khira Gipfert, who scored six points along with five rebounds. Skye Lefever was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Peetz struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Haxtun pulled down 27 offensive rebounds.
Haxtun's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-9. As for Peetz, they bumped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
