Calhoun Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Connor Hayes, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Colt Layton, who scored 12 points along with five assists and five steals.
Holy Trinity Classical Christian's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-4. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.0 points per game. As for Calhoun Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
