Florida State University High School hasn't had much luck against Wakulla recently, but that could start to change  on Thursday. The Florida State University High School Seminoles will look to defend their home field  against the Wakulla War Eagles  at 7:00  p.m. Florida State University High School will be strutting in after a  win while Wakulla will be coming in after a  defeat.
Florida State University High School is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. Everything went their way against Godby on Tuesday as Florida State University High School made off with  a  14-1 victory. The  win was some much needed relief for the Seminoles as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Zach Tubbs looked comfortable as he  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. What's more,  he gave up only one  walk, the fewest he's  had since back in March of 2024.

 On the hitting side,  Brayden Smith was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing  Four bases. while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Florida State University High School's success: when he posts  at  least two  stolen bases the team is 2-1 (and 1-7 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of  Cole Allbaugh, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.
 Florida State University High School was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .448. The last time their  batting average was this high was  back in March of 2024.
Meanwhile, Wakulla came up short against  Leon on Tuesday, falling  8-1. The  match marked the War Eagles' lowest-scoring  game so far this season.
Wakulla also got a good showing from  Tucker High, who   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 At the plate,  Josiah Pierini made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with one  home run and one  double. That  home run was  his first of the season.
 This is the second loss in a row for Wakulla and  nudges their season record down to 5-2. As for Florida State University High School, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Florida State University High School has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 2.7  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Wakulla struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 8  stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Florida State University High School suffered a grim  10-4 defeat to Wakulla  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024. Can Florida State University High School avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
