This season hasn't been kind to the Design Tech Dragons, who are still winless after their ninth contest. They were dealt a 70-42 defeat at the hands of The Nueva School on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Design Tech has suffered against The Nueva School since January 31, 2019.
When it comes to explaining why Design Tech lost, one person who can't be blamed is Eddy Yee. Despite the final result, he scored ten points.
Gabe Ciechanover was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points for The Nueva School. Ciechanover hasn't dropped below 15points for seven straight games. Jackson Lee was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Design Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for The Nueva School, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Design Tech will take on San Francisco Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Nueva School won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Kehillah at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th. Kehillah is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
