Baseball Recap: Golden Has No Trouble Against Pueblo East

Golden won the last time they faced Pueblo East and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Demons were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Eagles. Considering the Demons' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Taden Svendsen tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Luca Casali was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaydon Stroup, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Golden was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pueblo East only posted a batting average of .235.

Golden's record is now 6-3. As for Pueblo East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.

Golden has already played their next matchup, a 7-6 win against Pueblo Central on the 2nd. As for Pueblo East, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-5 defeat against Canon City on the 4th.
