Taylor is 0-10 against Trinity Christian Academy since November of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Taylor Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Trinity Christian Academy Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Taylor had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past Varsity Opponent 58-23 on the road. With Taylor ahead 39-11 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Taylor got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nikko Dozier out in front who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was James Thomas, who scored 10 points.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Trinity Christian Academy on the road against Pace Brantley on Tuesday as the team secured a 67-27 win.
Taylor's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to an identical 1-0.
Taylor might still be hurting after the 68-46 loss they got from Trinity Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Can Taylor avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
