Marmion had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Wheaton North on Saturday. The Cadets blew past the Falcons 9-1. The result was nothing new for the Cadets, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Nate Bostrand tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
At the plate, Matthew Tulley was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Trajan Storto-Featherson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

As for Wheaton North, they dropped their record down to 15-18-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
