They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  6-5  victory over the Booker T. Washington Warriors  on Thursday.   Brandon Williams was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kevin Shore, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all two of his plate appearances.
 Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record  this season.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: they beat Booker T. Washington by a score of  14-0 later that day.
