Old Plank Christian Academy extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jenna Jiannuzzi. The Old Plank Christian Academy Defenders enjoyed a cozy 48-29 victory over the St. Joseph Academy Flashes on Tuesday thanks in part to Jiannuzzi, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 17 boards. Jiannuzzi is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least nine every time she's taken the court this season.
The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Caron, who posted three points and six steals. Old Plank Christian Academy is 2-1 when Caron posts three or more steals, but 1-2 otherwise.
St. Joseph Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addison Maushart, who had 11 points. Jeahnna Williams was another key player, putting up eight points.
The win got Old Plank Christian Academy back to even at 3-3. As for St. Joseph Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
