The Argonaut Mustangs lost against the Sonora Wildcats back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Argonaut took a hard 56-41 fall against Sonora. Argonaut has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for Jonathan Curran, who scored 23 points along with five rebounds and two steals for Sonora. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Curran has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Roger Edwards, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Argonaut bumped their record down to 9-12 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Sonora, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-10.
Argonaut on the road again on Tuesday and play against Summerville at 7:15 p.m. on January 16th. As for Sonora, they will be playing at home against Calaveras at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
